Achieve Your Goals
Support That Makes a Difference
As a grief support specialist, I help people learn to manage their grief and navigate their way through the ongoing process of grieving. We provide a safe space to explore and experience grief, as well as guide the griever through ways to incorporate this lost relationship in their future.
Anxiety and Depression
These two experiences often go hand-in-hand. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I help clients identify the automatic thoughts and feelings that contribute to distressful symptoms. I help client’s master appropriate coping skills to better manage these symptoms so they do not impact day to day functioning.
Family Counseling/Parental Support
I help families improve communication and address life experiences that impact the dynamic. I have vast experience with Children’s System of Care that allows me to provide parental support to better manage behaviors in the home, improve interactions and connect with each other. I am certified in Nurtured Heart, an intervention that parents can incorporate to develop a positive, mutually respectful relationship with their children.
Trauma Informed Care
I have participated in extensive training to help clients manage the symptoms that trauma creates. Using mindfulness, motivational interviewing, progressive muscle relaxation and other CBT interventions, I help clients process their life experiences and improve their coping skills to better manage the symptoms they have contributed to.
I offer an 8-week Aggression Replacement Training group that will help clients identify their triggers for anger, and master skills to deescalate themselves when experiencing anger.
